Ayurvedic Nutrition: Balancing and Healing the Natural Way


Come and explore yourself in this handson experiential nutrition course. Ayurveda is based on the knowledge and balance of nautre. Nature is made-up of 5 elements, and so are we. You will learn about the 5 elements, their attributes and how these form the 3 basic Ayurvedic constitutions, (doshas). You will discover your unique constitution and how to keep your body and mind in balance and good health through Ayurvedic nutrition, cooking and lifestyle. You'll experience the 6 tastes common to Ayurvedic cuisine as we create and sample a variety of dishes. Bring your apron, take-home containers, appetite and creative spirit.
